Real, interactive 3D models you can rotate, zoom and present in class — and students can even view in AR on a phone. Each model comes with a teaching aim, the structures to identify, and its clinical relevance — so it's a lesson, not just a mesh. 🫀

For faculty — teaching with the atlas
▶ Press Launch, then drag to rotate and scroll to zoom.
⛶ Use Present fullscreen for the lecture-hall projector.
🩺 Read out the “Spot the structures” list and ask students to locate each part on the model.
🏷️ A few models are marked Labelled — those have tappable numbered dots their author added; on the rest, students name each part themselves using the checklist.
📱 Tell students to open it on a phone to explore it in AR.

The Skull & Cervical Spine
Head & Neck
A real human skull and neck captured by photogrammetry.
🎯 Aim: Orient the skull and identify its major bones, sutures and foramina from every angle.
Spot the structures
0/5 found
Launch the model, then tap each part as you locate it.
No peeking — name them, then check.
🩺 Clinical relevance
•The pterion is the thinnest part of the skull — a blow here can tear the middle meningeal artery (extradural haematoma).
•Skull-base fractures can injure the cranial nerves passing through the foramina.
•The atlanto-axial joint allows head rotation; injury there threatens the cervical spinal cord.
👩🏫 Teaching tip: Rotate to the skull base and ask students to name each foramen and the structure passing through it.
The atlas also plays a college's own .glb models — CT/MRI reconstructions or department scans — with the same rotate, zoom, fullscreen and AR controls. If you'd like your department's models featured, tell us through Feedback.
Educational only — not clinical advice. All models are embedded from their creators under their stated Creative Commons licences, with attribution; the rights remain with the original authors. Always correlate with your prescribed anatomy texts and cadaveric study.
