Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 July 2026

MedPulse (“we”, at medpulseiq.com) respects your privacy. This policy explains what we collect, why, and your rights. We aim to comply with India’s DPDP Act 2023 and the GDPR for applicable users.

1. What we collect

  • Account info — your name, email and profile image from Google when you sign in.
  • Profile — the stream, year and college you provide at onboarding.
  • Content — questions, answers, votes, book listings, and mentorship details you post.
  • Technical — basic logs needed to run and secure the service.

2. How we use it

  • To provide and personalise the Platform (your feed, tests, matches).
  • To keep the community safe and prevent abuse.
  • To contact you about the service if needed.

3. Consent & BluePen Online

We store your details based on the consent you give at onboarding. We share your contact with our learning partner BluePen Online only if you explicitly opt in to free classes. You can change or withdraw this at any time.

4. Where your data lives

Data is stored in a managed PostgreSQL database (Supabase) and the app runs on Vercel behind Cloudflare. Sign-in is handled via Google. These providers process data on our behalf with appropriate safeguards.

5. Your rights

You can request to access, correct or delete your data, and withdraw consent, by emailing contact@medpulseiq.com. We will respond within a reasonable time.

6. Cookies & sessions

We use a secure session cookie to keep you signed in. We do not sell your data.

7. Data security & retention

We use industry-standard measures (encryption in transit, access controls). We keep your data while your account is active or as needed to run the service, then delete or anonymise it.

8. Changes & contact

We may update this policy; we’ll change the date above. Questions or requests: contact@medpulseiq.com.
