Take a deep breath and let's start by looking at the overall structure. Notice the distinct layers visible here. Focus on the submucosa, where you see clusters of glands. Those are Brunner's glands, and they are unique to the duodenum. This is your key feature. Many students rush to high power and get lost in the details of the cells. Avoid that by confirming the presence of Brunner's glands first. Once you have that, you can be confident you’re looking at the duodenum. Remember, the jejunum and ileum lack these glands, so this is your discriminating feature.
