The mock practical

Every other bench in this room teaches you something. This one measures you, which is a different thing and a much less comfortable one.

It is the full circuit: mixed stations, a clock on each, a bell you cannot argue with, marks rather than ticks, and no going back once you have answered. Sit it once before the real thing and the real thing stops being the first time.

Instructions to candidates

8 stations · 19 marks · 10 minutes

5 spot stations at 2 marks, 60 seconds each. Identify what is in front of you.
3 viva stations at 3 marks, 90 seconds each, spread across the four levels.
The bell moves you on whether you have answered or not. There is no going back.
No marks are shown until the end. You get the whole sheet then, and you can print it.

Viva stations are marked by you, against the model answer, because a viva is spoken and there is no honest way to grade what you said out loud. Mark yourself the way an examiner would, not the way you would like to be marked.
