Presumptive pulmonary TB: cough ≥ 2 weeks, fever ≥ 2 weeks, significant weight loss, night sweats, haemoptysis (any one), or any abnormality on CXR. In PLHIV, contacts, children, diabetics and other vulnerable groups, a cough of any duration qualifies. Active case finding (ACF) among vulnerable populations; TB Mukt Bharat Abhiyan (from 7 December 2024) uses AI‑assisted handheld CXR to screen high‑risk groups irrespective of symptoms.
