In real life
Two babies are born on the same day in the same district hospital. One goes home to a pucca house with piped water, a mother who finished college and a family with health insurance. The other goes home to a one‑room hut beside a drain, a mother who left school at 12, and a father who works daily‑wage jobs. Same doctors, same hospital, same day. But their chances of reaching their fifth birthday are very different. Medicine didn't make that difference. Life did.
