The reasoning: a lead records the projection of a moving dipole
A depolarisation wavefront moving toward a positive electrode produces an upward deflection; moving away, downward; perpendicular, biphasic. Repolarisation spreads epicardium → endocardium in ventricles (epicardial APs are shorter), so the T wave is normally concordant with the QRS.
