The reasoning: GFR = Kf × net filtration pressure
GFR = Kf × [(P_GC − P_BS) − σ(π_GC − π_BS)]. Teaching values: P_GC ≈ 50–60, P_BS ≈ 15, π_GC rising from ≈ 25 to ≈ 35 along the capillary (as protein‑free fluid is removed), π_BS ≈ 0 → net filtration pressure ≈ 10 mmHg. Kf is very high (large area × high hydraulic conductivity); mesangial contraction (Ang II, endothelin) reduces filtration surface.
