A young woman two weeks after delivering a baby has a severe headache and a seizure. CT shows a bleed in an odd place (not matching any artery) and a bright, dense superior sagittal sinus. CT venography shows a clot in the sinus: cerebral venous thrombosis, a recognised risk after pregnancy.
