In real life
In a hilly village, the nearest hospital is three hours away. But the ASHA lives next door, the Ayushman Arogya Mandir (Health and Wellness Centre) is a short walk, and a Community Health Officer there checks blood pressure, gives medicines and arranges teleconsultation with a doctor. Most of the village's health needs (vaccines, antenatal care, BP and sugar checks, minor illness) are handled right there. That is primary health care in action.
