In real life
In a PHC labour room, the delivery instruments must be sterilised in an autoclave, because they touch sterile body tissues. The delivery table is disinfected with a chlorine solution, and the health worker's hands are washed with soap or rubbed with alcohol hand rub. Each step uses a different level of germ‑killing for a different level of risk.
