In real life
A city's dengue cases rise every monsoon. Fogging trucks spray the streets, yet cases keep rising. Why? Because Aedes mosquitoes breed in clean water inside homes: water drums, flower vases, coolers, discarded tyres, and they bite during the day. Fogging streets at dusk barely touches them. Emptying containers once a week ("dry day") works far better.
